Support The Empty Stocking Fund in Milledgeville

For over 30 years the fund has provided holiday food boxes to local families in need. The program started by feeding 10 families the first year, and has grown to provide meals for over 400 families each year. We would like to invite all Milledgeville and Baldwin, county organizations and citizens to join in support of this effort.

All contributions collected go directly toward the cost of food items. There are no administrative costs involved, and the good people at Johnnie McDade Grocery provide the food items and the labor to package the mailboxes.

Food is one of the largest expenditures in the family budget and can add an undo level of stress, particularly during the holidays. By supporting families, we are doing more than providing a holiday meal. We are giving families, the ability to come together with dignity, create memories and build traditions.

This year we need your help more than ever. Please make checks payable to The Empty Stocking Fund and either drop it by JC Grant Company or mail it to 116 South Wayne St. Thank you for your support.
