Georgia College in Milledgeville has been approved by the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) as a COVID-19 vaccine distribution site.
A Georgia College spokeswoman says they are waiting on more details from the DPH on the timing of vaccine allotments.
A Georgia DPH spokeswoman says vaccine has not been sent to GC yet because of the limited supply of vaccine available.
Right now, the Baldwin County Health Department and the Milledgeville Kroger are the only places offering the COVID-19 vaccine.
Appointments for the Baldwin County Health Department are being done through the North Central Health District Appointment Line. 478-749-0179 or 1-844-987-0099. Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
