The Greene County School System is extending virtual learning for all students for another week to include January 11th through 15th.
System says it is necessary because of the spread of COVID-19 in Greene County.
According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, in the past two weeks, Greene County has seen 189 new cases with a testing positivity rate of 28%. County’s overall positivity rate has been closer to 13%.
All students have been doing virtual learning since Monday, when they returned from Winter Break.
