A juvenile was shot Monday evening on Grandview Drive in Milledgeville.
According to Major Linc Boyer, the shooting happened around 5 p.m.
Milledgeville police were sent to the 2400 block of Grandview Drive after getting a call that a juvenile was shot in his side.
Witnesses said the juvenile was approached by someone and shot one time at close range. The shooter then ran away.
The juvenile was taken to the hospital and the investigation is active and ongoing.
