The North Central Health District (NCHD) announced this week that it will move its drive-thru COVID-19 testing from the health department to a local park.
“North Central Health District’s (NCHD) and Baldwin County Health Department, in partnership with Mako Medical, will relocate drive through COVID-19 testing from the health department to Walter B. Williams, Jr. Park located a t 59 GA-22 West. Testing will begin at the new location Friday, Jan. 14. All visitors will enter the testing site from GA-212 and exit onto GA-22.
COVID-19 testing will be available by appointment every Monday and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Register for an appointment via Mako Medical’s website at mako.exchange/scheduler/registration/?location=5964.
PLEASE NOTE: North Central Health District and the county health departments cannot provide test results from MAKO testing. Once tested, you will be notified of your results within 2-3 days (if you have registered for the patient portal). To register for the patient portal, text “MAKO” to 66349, or sign up to register for results at mako.luminatehealth.com.
