A little more than two weeks after opening their doors, Taliaferro County Schools have transitioned their students to online learning, along with paper packet learning.
The first day of classes was July 19th. In-person classes were suspended August 4th. The plan is return August 18th.
We talked with Superintendent Allen Fort about the decision, their safety protocols during the first two weeks of school and the pushback he has been getting for the decision to suspend in-person classes for two weeks.
