On Friday, Chad Haufler was found guilty of the 2018 death of his friend Marc Dimos at Haufler’s Reynolds Lake Oconee home.
A Greene County jury took less than an hour to find Haufler guilty of two counts of Malice Murder, two counts of Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery and Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.
Haufler was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole, plus five years. Parole is possible about 30 years.
