Nearly 38,000 Lake Area residents are now full vaccinated for COVID-19.
That is 34% of the total population of Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Morgan and Putnam Counties.
Georgia’s full vaccination rate is 36%.

Baldwin 13,874 31%
Greene 7,579 44%
Hancock 2,965 35%
Morgan 6,539 35%
Putnam 6,982 32%

Two important notes about this data. First, county-level population data was adjusted this week with new Census data. In the case of the Lake Area’s five counties, the total population dropped 1,871. Second, the percentage’s are reflection of total population. The COVID-19 vaccine is only being offered to those 12 and older.
