A Greene County jury has found Chad Haufler guilty for the death of Marc Dimos.
In August 2018, Dimos was shot and killed in Haufler’s Reynolds Lake Oconee home on Jones Bluff Court.
Haufler was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during a commission of a crime.
Haufler was then sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole, plus five years.
That could come out to about 35 years.
The two men were friends.
