Just some of the things stolen from Bill’s Dollar Store in Greensboro.
Assistant Police Chief Tommy Nelson says that is what his officers saw after reviewing just five days of surveillance video. Nelson believes the thefts go back to October.
Assistant Chief Nelson says they have already arrested 25 people, including two employees. 43-year-old Christopher Shackelford of Greensboro and 39-year-old Anthony Console of Greensboro have been charged with multiple counts of theft by taking. Those are misdemeanors. Most of the other people have been charged with theft by shoplifting. As of Tuesday, Nelson says they are still looking for one person and have another 22 to identify from surveillance video.*
