The Twin Lakes Library System currently covers Baldwin County and Milledgeville.
The Middle Georgia Regional Library System includes Bibb, Crawford, Jones, Macon, Twiggs and Wilkinson Counties.
The Twin Lakes Library System’s Board of Trustees considered other proposals before voting to rejoin Middle Georgia Library System.
Twin Lakes has been a separate system since 2001.
The merger is expected to take effect July 1st.
