Governor Brian Kemp announced Wednesday the addition of five new mass vaccination sites in Georgia, including one in Washington County.

The Washington County site will be at the Word of Life Church in Sandersville.

It will open March 17th.

COVID-19 vaccine appointments for the site can be booked at https://myvaccinegeorgia.com/

Starting Monday, K-12 teachers and staff, Pre-K educators, daycare workers, adults with developmental disabilities and parents of children with complex medical conditions will become eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Here is who is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in Georgia as of March 8th.

Another eligibility expansion is expected later this month.
