The slow rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in Georgia continues as Lake Area stores, health departments and hospitals are now offering limited appointments to eligible people.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is very high demand for the vaccine and a small supply, which means there are few appointments. New appointments are opening up as health departments, stores and hospitals get new supplies.
LOCAL STORES
The grocery store pharmacies include Ingles in Madison, Kroger in Milledgeville and Publix in Greensboro are offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments, along with the Eatonton Wal-Mart

HOSPITALS
Navicent Health is booking vaccine appointments at CovidsafeGA.org
Putnam General Hospital is booking appointments at their vaccine hotline, 706-923-2052
HEALTH DEPARTMENTS
The North Central Health District, which includes Baldwin, Hancock and Putnam Counties, is registering people by phone at 1-844-987-0099.
The Northeast Health District, which includes Greene and Morgan Counties, is registering eligible people at https://bit.ly/3n7fnVS. You will get a call back.
The Morgan County Health Department will be offering COVID-19 vaccines on Mondays, by appointment.
Priority will be given to those who have already registered. They will get a phone call to schedule an appointment.
If you have not registered for a vaccine yet, you can call the Morgan County Health Department at 706-752-1266.
