The State of Georgia has certified the runoff victories of Democratic U.S. Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, along with the re-election of Georgia Public Service Commissioner Bubba McDonald.
The Georgia Secretary of State’s office certified the races Tuesday.
Governor Brian Kemp then immediately issued the certifications of election and had Senate results delivered to Washington, D.C.
Senators-elect Ossoff and Warnock will be sworn in this afternoon around 4:30, when the U.S. Senate reconvenes after the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

Ossoff replaces former Senator David Perdue, whose term ended January 3rd. Warnock replaces Senator Kelly Loeffler.
