The Eatonton center will now also serve Bluestem’s other labels: Appleseed’s, Blair, Draper’s & Damon’s, Fingerhut and Gettington.
According to Governor Brian Kemp’s office, Bluestem will invest $1 million into the center and hire 130 new full-time workers. That would about double the current workforce at the plant.
The Putnam County Developmental Authority says those new employees are expected to begin working in February.
Bluestem also expects to hire 200 part-time and seasonal workers through out the year.
Current and future distribution and warehousing jobs will be listed at Indeed.com
Putnam Developmental Authority says Bluestem will have a job fair next Saturday, January 23rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CGTC Putnam County Center. The job fair will be for new full-time and part-time position. Masks are requested for the job fair.
