As of Friday afternoon, Ossof led Perdue by 44,973 votes or 1%.
At 1%, Perdue can not ask for recount of the vote.
Yesterday, fellow Senator Kelly Loeffler has conceded her race for re-election to Ralphael Warncock.
Ossoff and Ralphael Warncock are expected to take office after their election wins are certified by the state of Georgia in the next two weeks.
