The final week of in-person early voting is underway for the January 5th runoffs.
Nearly 24,000 voters in the Lake Area have already cast their ballots, according to GeorgiaVotes.com.
That is more than 30 percent of registered voters in Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Morgan and Putnam Counties.
At the top of the ballot are Georgia’s high-profile U.S. Senate runoffs. One has U.S. Senator David Perdue versus Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff. The other has U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler versus Democratic challenger Rev. Raphael Warnock. The other runoff is for Georgia Public Service Commission with incumbent Republican Bubba McDonald versus Democratic challenger Daniel Blackman.
