Putnam County Schools are going to online learning for the rest of the week because of “the increasing number of positive COVID cases in the school district and community” and other reasons.
The school system is also dealing with an increasing number of students and staff in COVID-19 quarantine and a rising number of absences due to other illnesses.
Christmas Break for the school district starts Friday.
The school system says it will return to a normal setup on January 5th.
